Artisanal bagels are the only bread-like mix that is boiled before being baked. Mass commercialisation of the bagel in the United States led to the bagel being steamed instead of using this traditional method. It is faster and more cost effective (but not as delicious); thus leaving few bagel shops in North America that still make bagels the good old-fashioned way Montreal is home to most of these traditional bagel shops.
Our bagels are served by our partners right in Montreal’s Pierre Elliot Trudeau Airport. International travellers become life-long aficionados once they’ve tasted our unique bagels.
